Terms & Conditions

1. General

The contract is between the customer and Mayer Weinimport AG, 5615 Fahrwangen. The contract is concluded when you place your order in the online shop. With your order you accept the general terms and conditions and confirm at the same time that you are at least 18 years old. 2. Delivery conditions

You will usually receive the goods within three to five working days. If we do not have the item in stock, we will inform you of the backorder and send you the goods as soon as we receive them. Delivery will be made by post or DPD. Deliveries are only made to Switzerland and Lichtenstein.

3. Shipping costs

The delivery costs depend on the weight of the ordered products. The delivery costs are listed as an additional item on the invoice.

If we deliver your order in several parts for technical reasons, we will of course only charge the delivery costs once.

4. Right of return

It is the customer's responsibility to check the ordered products immediately upon receipt and to store them correctly. Mayer Weinimport AG must be notified of any defects or deviations from the order by e-mail (info@mayer-gifts.ch) on the day of delivery. Thereafter, only hidden defects can be claimed, which must be reported to Mayer Weinimport AG immediately after discovery. The amount paid by the customer for the defective goods will be credited to the customer's account or settled with a replacement delivery. Mayer Weinimport AG reserves the right to demand proof of the defect.

5. Prices

All prices are in Swiss francs. Prices are subject to change and are not excluded. However, the prices are binding at the time of the order.

6. Offer

The offer is valid while it is visible in the online shop and/or while stocks last. Price and product range changes are possible at any time. The images shown in advertisements, brochures, in the online shop, etc., as well as all information on the products are for illustration purposes and are not binding. The specific information on the product packaging is decisive.

Errors, price changes, changes of year and delivery possibilities remain reserved.

7. Terms of payment

Payment can be made by MasterCard, Visa, Twint or by cash in advance. The respective fees are already included in the current prices and therefore do not have to be paid additionally. Cash payment is also possible upon collection.

8. Refusal of acceptance

In the event of unjustified refusal to accept the goods delivered by us, we will charge the costs incurred to us. We will then try to contact you to clarify the situation.

9. Retention of property rights

The goods remain the property of Mayer Weinimport AG, 5615 Fahrwangen, Switzerland, until payment has been made in full.

10. Data protection

We process personal data of customers in strict compliance with the applicable data protection law. All data will be treated with absolute confidentiality and will not be made accessible to third parties. The data will be used exclusively for the fulfilment of the contractual relationship, for processing the information requested by you and for statistical purposes.

11. Place of performance

The place of performance for our deliveries of goods as well as for your purchase price payments shall be our place of business, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

12. Salvatory clause

Should any clause of these terms and conditions be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the other clauses. If a clause of these terms and conditions is invalid in only one part, the other part shall remain valid. The parties are obliged to replace an invalid clause by a valid substitute provision which comes as close as possible to the economic purpose of the invalid contractual provision.

13. Applicable law

Swiss law shall apply to the entire legal relationship between Mayer Weinimport AG, 5615 Fahrwangen, and the customer. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is 5600, Lenzburg.

Protection of minors

Orders can only be placed by natural persons who are at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, the sale of alcohol to young people is subject to various restrictions. Mayer Weinimport AG generally does not sell alcohol to young people under the age of 18. By stating his or her birthday, the customer bindingly indicates his or her age so that this regulation and the legal requirements can be complied with.
