Amarone and Ripasso della Valpolicella DOC with wine glasses

Both wines have a ruby red colour with granulated reflections. The Amarone is beautifully fruity on the nose, reminiscent of a plum compote with light tobacco and wood notes. On the palate, it has a soft attack followed by a complex aroma. It has a dense body with nicely integrated tannins, which provide a long finish. The Ripasso, on the other hand, has a strong bouquet of plums and dried fruits on the nose. On the palate, it is very aromatic with a nice fullness and smoothness. The wines go perfectly with roasts, various grilled meats, game, risotto and hard cheeses.
